new tunes...

Just a quick update on the new songs you may have heard on the show this week.

Razorlight have a new one, Before I Fall To Pieces:

The Pussycat Dolls ft Timbaland - Wait A Minute:

And we had a chat with Ana Matronic about the new Scissor Sisters video, Land Of A Thousand Words:

This is just wrong - but it's seriously funny

Danny DeVito appeared on US TV show, The View (it's basically like Loose Women only American) a bit wasted.

He's still pretty funny though - and Rosie O'Donnell's quite cool.

Ian Dempsey's getting his hair chopped for charidee. To be fair, he needs it:

It's going ahead on the afternoon show today in aid of Concern - so get your pledges in now.

We've been playing The View - Same Jeans on the show this week. This is a class song.

Here's more on them:

Dundonian 4 piece, The View, have announced details of the release of a new single, Same Jeans, which will be released on January 12th 2007 through 1965 Records. The single will be available on 7” coloured vinyl and CD. The 7” features new track Screamin n Shoutin, while the CD also includes Cherry Girl, a live version (audio & video) of Superstar Tradesman and the Same Jeans video.

The single will be followed by the bands debut album, Hats Off To The Buskers, on January 19th . The 14-track long player was produced by Owen Morris (producer of the Verve’s seminal Northern Soul and Oasis’ debut Definitely Maybe) in rural Yorkshire in two weeks during May of this year and features previous singles Wasted Little DJ’s which was released in August of this year and Superstar Tradesman.

The band, who have just entered the UK charts at number 15 with their second single for 1965, Superstar Tradesman, have been on the road for almost 3 months now playing both sold out headline shows in the UK as well as some supports, most notably alongside Primal Scream.

And we just love Just Jack - Starz In Their Eyes:

Just Jack actually had another single (which never got radio play) that I loved. It's called Writer's Block:

And finally, Jamelia - Beware Of The Dog:
