1, 2, 3.... OOWW! Also - spot the creepy old dude in the mirror to the right...

So, we decided to get a little work done in our living room.

Some painting – and the light fixture needed replacing.

We got his number in the Golden Pages. Never again.

I like the look of this little device. But there's a flippin' recession on, don't you know?

Unboxing here:

Best price on ebay at the moment is 600 euro. But that'll come down by Xmas if you'd like to start saving now...

So I spotted the headline for this story:

Woman facing jail for breaching her sex noise Asbo

Which is all about this:

The woman given an Asbo for having noisy sex with her husband is facing jail for breaching it after five days.

And I thought I'd go in and see what she looks like.

I just can't bear the idea of this pair having sex - especially loud sex. Eww!

And look at the walls!

Double eww!

From The Mirror.

oh beyonce...

Howard Stern takes the mick out of Beyonce singing off key on The Today Show.

My lord. If Beyonce can't even sing in key then we're all fecked.

Pretty funny though.

Have you seen this pair?

They got married a couple of days ago as Shrek and Princess Fiona. According to The Mail:

Hospice nurse Christine England, 40, married her fiance Keith, 44, in full costume and make-up in front of 100 guests who were also in fancy dress.

I’m going to drink myself into a stupor. I may not be on air tomorrow.

Got this press release this evening:

RTÉ Announces Seoige Daytime Show Coming to a Close

RTÉ Television today (Tuesday 21 April, 2009) announced that this Friday’s edition of Seoige will be the last. The current series will finish its run on Friday 24 April as planned and a new series will not be commissioned for the autumn.

Steve Carson, Director of Programmes, RTÉ Television said: “The decision not to re-commission another series of Seoige is a financial one, necessitated by a significant shortfall in revenue in the last quarter of 2008 and so far in 2009. The series has been very successful for RTÉ, its audience has grown each year, and it has carved out a loyal following. Traditionally, RTÉ has only broadcast one home-produced daytime show. A second was introduced 6 years ago, facilitated by a buoyant economy and increasing revenue. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Tyrone Productions team for their dedication and hard work, and of course the presenters, Gráinne and Síle Seoige, for their professionalism, commitment and polish on live television five-days-a-week. We’re looking forward to working with Gráinne next season on some major peak time projects and I’m sure we’ll also be working with Síle again in the near future.”

Seoige, (previously Seoige & O’Shea), produced by Tyrone Productions, has run for three years on RTÉ Television. Presented by Gráinne Seoige for all three years, joined by Joe O’Shea for the first two seasons, and her sister, Síle Seoige in the last, the average audience in the last season was 121,000 in the later daytime slot (16.25-17.15) Monday-Friday on RTÉ One.

John McHugh, Chief Executive Tyrone Productions, said: “I’m naturally disappointed that we will not be producing another season of Seoige but I am proud of the fact that we are going out on a high.  The fact that the show’s audience has grown year on year is a tribute to the hard work of its talented team behind and in front of camera.  We’re looking forward to bringing another series of the All Ireland Talent Show to RTÉ next season and of course working with Gráinne on that.  She’s is a consummate broadcaster and a pleasure to work with. Síle has done a fantastic job this season and I hope that we will work together again in the near future.”

Gráinne Seoige said: “It’s been fantastic fun working on this show for the past three years – initially with Joe and this year with Síle. The reality of a live daytime show though five-days-per-week is that it can make the logistics of projects outside of daytime very tricky! It was a big challenge to keep up with it all during the shooting and broadcast of The All Ireland Talent Show earlier this year, so, I’m really looking forward to concentrating on projects in peak time next season. But I’ll so miss working with Síle every day...”

Síle Seoige said: “This year on Seoige has been the most wonderful experience for me – on a personal and professional basis: Working alongside my sister, gaining invaluable experience of live broadcasting five-days-a-week, meeting some really interesting people, being supported by such a great team. I feel really privileged actually. Our phone bills will definitely go up now though - we’ve gotten used to talking to one another every single day!”

The last episode of Seoige will be broadcast on Friday 24 April at 4.25pm on RTÉ One. RTÉ Television will announce full details of autumn programming, at a later date.

I love that quote thanking the ladies for their polish. Polish? I just thought they spoke Irish.

It’s a sad day for Irish unemployed heterosexual men. And the lesbians.

Why didn’t anybody say something?

Some great songs in this:

I'm on Facebook now.

It's not a very regular thing, but I thought I'd give it a gander. And I see I've been challenged to a quiz.

So I do the quiz - got 100% - cheers. Then I'm brought through to another page, where my friends have done other quizzes:

"Oh look, there's Robyn in 5th, Ann Gleeson looking kooky in her wooly hat at 4, Kate, David and... WHAT?? Tracy has the highest IQ of anyone I know?? FUCK THAT!!!" Sez I.

So I go and do the quiz. They don't give me the results, but rather:

And like a fucking donkey, I put in my mobile number (thinking my IQ results will be sent to me) when I get a "Congratulations! You've just spent 2.50 subscribing to our shitty text service. To unsubscribe, send STOP to 57151" message. So I think "Shit!" and send the STOP message.

Next I wonder: Why the fuck are they allowed to use my friends pictures and profile details in a fucking ad scam? And why are they allowed to make this ad scam look like a legit part of Facebook? And who do I abuse on Monday for poxy two euro fifty?

And my IQ result? Still nothing. So I'll take it as zero - for falling for the scam in the first place.

This is a mad old clip.

But when they taze him, I laughed.

…give her one?

An award! Get your mind out of the gutter, ya filthy f**k.

She’s up for “Favourite Female TV Presenter” in the TV Now Awards and is shamelessly whoring herself out for votes. Bless her, she’s even bought a shedload of pay-as-you-go mobile phones to text vote the premium number for herself. She’s furiously texting “Me!Me!Me!” in her RTÉ makeup chair as I type. She says she got the idea from Cagney.

So, would you?
